1.What made you decide to jump into the music industry or music business?
I’ve always had a passion for EDM music and I just knew that this was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
2. What do you think makes you stand out from all the other aspiring and upcoming artists in your genre of music?
I am always experimenting with different sounds and styles. I’m someone who is open minded and likes to try new things. I’ve always been the artist that likes to do things differently and not copy what everyone else is already doing.
3. If you could collaborate with ANY artist/band… Who would you choose and why?
I would choose “Martin Garrix” because he is the reason I got into EDM so it would be an amazing experience if I were to collaborate with him. Also It would be nice to see his process on how he creates his songs, I am always eager to learn from other people.
4. What do you think is your biggest Advantage and your biggest Disadvantage about being an Indie artist?
My biggest advantage is definitely my work ethic, I just truly enjoy the grind so it’s very easy for me to put in all those hours into my craft. A disadvantage would be that I am doing everything on my own from producing to marketing and much more so it’s definitely time consuming.
5. Do you prefer the Independent route or would you rather sign to a major record label, and why?
I prefer the Independent route because I don’t want to be controlled by anyone and most importantly I want to have the freedom of releasing any type of music. The whole point of being an artist is to be able to make the music you want, which could change overtime.
6. Out of all the songs you’ve released, what do you think is your Best song and why?
I would say “Paradise” because I really love the vocals on this track and how the production came out.
7. Do you miss the era of CD sales OR do you prefer the new wave of music streaming? Explain…
Definitely the new era of streaming because it means anyone around the world can listen to your song and it’s easier to listen to a track nowadays which means people are listening to music more.
8. Between creating in the studio OR performing live on stage, which is your most enjoyable one and why?
I would say performing because you get to see the peoples reaction when they hear your songs which is the best feeling in the world.
9. During your entire journey through the music business, what would you consider your Worst experience?
My worst experience would have to be the “beginning stage” of my career because that was the hardest stage. You pretty much don’t know anything about music business, marketing, your production skills are not there yet, so it was definitely challenging and stressful.
10. What would you consider your most successful or proudest moment in your music career, so far?
When I got my music production degree because I remember my first day attending music school I didn’t know anything about music theory or music production. I literally started from zero, so to complete the course and receive my degree it showed how far I came.
11. If any, what discourages you the Most about the music industry these days?
I would have to say the amount being paid per spotify stream. As an indie artist it would be nice to see spotify increase that number.
12. What inspires you the Most about the music industry these days?
What inspires me the most is that it’s very diverse and it amazes me how music is becoming so global. I really enjoy seeing people from around the world coming together to celebrate the music culture.
13. If you weren’t in the music business or industry, what do you think you would be doing with your life instead?
I probably would’ve been a club owner, promoter or owner of a record label. Definitely something that has to do with either the music scene or the nightlife scene.
14. In your own opinion, What is the current music scene like in your local area?
It’s honestly amazing, artists love collaborating with one another, they love helping each other out. Fans from all over the world are coming to attend these festivals and everything is just full of positive energy, it’s truly incredible.
15. What is your latest release and where can fans find it?
My latest release is called “Sunset” and it’s available on all major streaming services.
16. What is on your agenda or what can fans expect to see from you in 2022?
Fans can expect some amazing tunes coming up and some brand new collaborations, I really can’t wait to share it with you guys!
