1. What made you decide to jump into the music industry or music business?
“As a team we were occupied with different views on how we could use our time wisely, meanwhile finding ourselves as young kids running the streets in Miami, Fl. A lot of us didn’t grow up with the best backgrounds all we had were certain few and each other. We were the kids in the back blocks free styling in cars to pass the time , conducting illegal activities for pocket change lost in the world . So when I put a record together for the first time we saw the potential to move forward and try to make something happen for us and our families.”
2. What do you think makes you stand out from all the other aspiring and upcoming artists in your genre of music?
“My music speaks from my background so my songwriting can stretch to all angles of Rap , Hip Hop , R & B and Alternative. My new project Produced by NixonOnTheTrack mixed by MiamiBeatWave “Dear Miami Sincerely Yours” further introduces our genre of the trap ambient sound.”
3. If you could collaborate with ANY artist/band… Who would you choose and why?
I would currently collaborate with Rick Ross . He’s a staple in our city , having him on a record would sound crazy , and also really put things in perspective for an artist as myself leaning towards the same direction as he did with MMG.
4. What do you think is your biggest Advantage and your biggest Disadvantage about being an Indie artist?
The biggest advantage for an indie artist like myself is owning your music definitely , having the power to have full creative control of your releases. How you roll them out , what creative ideas you can come up with to spark your audience’s interest. The disadvantage would be not starting off with the major financial and experienced backing of a major recording label that goes into major artist promotions and marketing to kickstart releases and campaigns.
5. Do you prefer the Independent route or would you rather sign to a major record label, and why?
I truly prefer the independent major distribution route . Let me explain. When you know how to create smash records like we do , build a strong team , run budgets and have genuine growing numbers there’s leverage in partnerships with labels you can use to benefit your case of intellectual property.
6. Out of all the songs you’ve released, what do you think is your Best song and why?
I recently released a record called “4 am in Miami” off the “Dear Miami Sincerely Yours” project. I personally believe this is one of my best written and entertaining songs . From production by my homie NixonOnTheTrack, to the catchy hook and effortless melodic verses that compliment . Plus it represents our lifestyle in Miami . MiamiBeatWave got the sound quality at 1000% too.
7. Do you miss the era of CD sales OR do you prefer the new wave of music streaming? Explain…
I grew up in the era of CDs. I love the thought of a new album coming out and going to the store . Enjoying the experience of listening to it while looking through the album book was dope . The age we live in now takes away from the consumer experience in the physical. Now we have a more digital experience with moving covers , album trailers and the wide audience streaming services for artists like myself that benefit from.
8. Between creating in the studio OR performing live on stage, which is your most enjoyable one and why?
I love to perform on stage connecting with fans, introducing them to new music, seeing their reactions and feeding off their energy . It’s an experience you can’t get from anywhere else.
9. During your entire journey through the music business, what would you consider your Worst experience?
Dislike dealing with most promoters. A lot of them are unprofessional . Had shows and hosting gigs where there were altercations due to the lack of attention of the show.
10. What would you consider your most successful or proudest moment in your music career, so far?
One of the proudest would definitely be hearing my record on major radio rotation for all my fans , family and supporters to vibe up too.
11. If any, what discourages you the Most about music industry these days?
It’s an uphill battle day in and out for artists on the grind . I don’t believe it’s a discouraging feeling for me, it’s more of an anxiousness to do better than yesterday and progress .
12. What inspires you the Most about the music industry these days?
I love to travel and explore the world when I get a chance. Going on 20 – 30 city tours would be great to connect with many people that relate to my music .
13. If you weren’t in the music business or industry, what do you think you would be doing with your life instead?
I’m a true writer at heart so I would be writing books and movie scripts , it’s something about being able to express yourself in that element that drives me .
14. In your own opinion, What is the current music scene like in your local area?
Miami has its own sound of a big melting pot , genres from all over the world . Miami natives pursue that moving and grooving sound . History might be repeating itself here like Uncle AL and 2 live crew mixed with classic 70s and 80s record samples.
15. What is your latest release and where fans can find it?

16. What is on your agenda or what can fans expect to see from you in 2022?
I’m focused on bringing awareness of the talent our team possesses , staying consistent with collaborative new records , shows , exclusive footage and music videos .
