As far as the music goes, “The Last Words of Albion” begins with mid-pitched piano. As the lyrics arrive and the freestyle poem continues, it becomes evidence to listeners that the entire instrumental consists simply of piano. That being said, the piano is a wonderful complement to JT Ferdinand’s voice, and fits the tone of the freestyle poem well. There are occasional piano solos, where listeners can hear a very talented pianist impress by playing various chords in rapid succession. JT Ferdinand delivers her freestyle in a soothing mid-range vocal, with a vast amount of emotion pouring out of her voice. The freestyle poem itself can best be described as somewhere between slow and mid-tempo.
