Song Review: “Finally Full Focoused” by Bezze-B and CAKE-O

Bezze-B has released the song “Finally Fully Focoused.” The song is a combination of hip hop, rap, and R&B. Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Bezze-B has put together a song that is sure to be enjoyed by fans of many different genres of music. Additionally, Bezze-B has released a music video for “Finally Full Focoused,” which sees him explain the meaning behind the lyrics in visual form by telling a story of its own. The song and the music video both feature fellow rapper CAKE-O.

At the beginning of the music video, viewers will see CAKE-O play a casual game of street basketball with someone else. Confident of his skills at the game, he then challenges the other person to pick any one of the many people surrounding them to challenge him to a game. He does this in attempt to prove the point that he truly is the best basketball player among everyone who was concurrently present at the outdoor basketball court. When the other person picks Bezze-B, who is sitting alone on the bench, CAKE-O begs him to pick someone different. The other person declines to do this, and CAKE-O challenges Bezze-B to a game. At this point, the beat to “Finally Fully Focoused” begins to play. 

The introduction of the song itself finds Bezze-B’s voice complemented by Auto-Tune and other vocal effects. Viewers will then see him wearing an NBA All Star jersey. There are two main settings of the music video: inside a room partying with women, and outdoors playing basketball with CAKE-O. The chorus is simple, containing the phrases “I’m finally fully focoused/Yeah/Yeah/Yeah.” It comes across as catchy and will be remembered by listeners well after the first listen is complete. The beat consists mostly of bass and an electronic drum beat, and the tempo of the song is upbeat. In the music video in general, viewers will find Bezze-B and CAKE-O simply having fun as they occasionally perform dance moves while simultaneously rapping into the camera. 

There are many memorable lyrics in “Finally Fully Focoused.” One of these is the statement “All I want is chicks.” It is very straightforward: Bezze-B desires to hang out with women. The song reinforces the upbeat mood of the song by wrapping “Life’s a party,” and says he’s “Tryna get rich.” Bezze-B’s flow is around standard for an upbeat hip hop song, and CAKE-O raps his verse extremely fast. Throughout CAKE-O’s verse, listeners will only be impressed by his ability to rap in a fast manner while also allowing listeners to clearly hear every word he is rapping.
