What made you decide to jump into the music industry or music business?

I never actually thought about it but when I started letting people hear my music they always wanted to hear more.

What do you think makes you stand out from all the other aspiring and upcoming artists in your genre of music?

Right now there is a severe lack of originality in music. When I sit down and play my music, I hear Rello XO. When I play other artist, I hear them and everyone else.

If you could collaborate with ANY artist/band… Who would you choose and why?

I’m a big fan of Doja Cat right now so definitely her.

What do you think is your biggest Advantage and your biggest Disadvantage about being an Indie artist?

Not being directly under the public eye allows me the freedom to experiment and make mistakes without too much outside commentary unlike mainstream artist

On the other hand, it’s a lot harder to gain exposure and be put out front. Take a lot of hard work and consistency.

Do you prefer the Independent route or would you rather sign to a major record label, and why?

There’s ups and downs with both routes. I think when the time comes to actually decide that I’ll know.

Out of all the songs you’ve released, what do you think is your Best song and why?

I love “Heat It Up” featuring my guy Dre Person. Just such a dope record. I was the underdog then and I proved to everybody listening I wasn’t someone to sleep on.

Do you miss the era of CD sales OR do you prefer the new wave of music streaming? Explain…

When I started being able to “consume” music we were already in the streaming era. So I don’t miss CD’s. Also most people aren’t actually buying music anymore so streams have helped to combat that change.

Between creating in the studio OR performing live on stage, which is your most enjoyable one and why?

Being on stage in tune with a crowd is an out of this world experience for sure. However, hearing your song come to life in the studio can’t be beat. Something being in your head so long then coming into existence is still surreal for me.

During your entire journey through the music business, what would you consider your Worst experience?

So I shot a video for my song TED TALK. Twice. Videographer was robbed the first time, true story. Then the files corrupted the second time we shot. I’ve learned early on how to handle disappointment.

What would you consider your most successful or proudest moment in your music career, so far?

Releasing my debut album After Service. I love it. Everybody else is gonna love it. I took my time with it and now it’s time to share it with everyone.

If any, what discourages you the Most about music industry these days?

Popularity continues to overshadow talent. That’s it. That’s all.

What inspires you the Most about the music industry these days?

Anybody can make it. You don’t even have to be a great rapper anymore. So that can be encouraging to rappers like myself who take it seriously.

If you wasn’t in the music business or industry, what do you think you would be doing with your life instead?

I’m in the Army. I’m almost a college student for computer engineering. I volunteer working with kids a lot. I’ve already been presented with different opportunities so I do whatever makes me happy.

In your own opinion, What is the current music scene like in your local area?

Richmond is making waves. Artist here genuinely support each other. The older music scene definitely supports the flood of new talent and help to cultivate it. As long as we continue to be cohesive, Richmond is gonna be in headlines really soon.

What is your latest release and where fans can find it?

My album After Service is available for pre-order on iTunes and pre-save on Spotify. My single How We Coming is out now everywhere. Definitely take the time to check me out.

What is on your agenda or what can fans expect to see from you in 2021?

Visual. Visuals. Visuals. Music videos and photoshoots are all following my project. Expect a lot of features coming soon as well.
